Why TopDock exists
Most of us check email and X dozens of times a day, and almost every check is the same: open a tab, scan for anything new, close it again. On Windows that usually means a row of browser tabs, notifications that only work while the right tab is open, or a full email client that wants your whole morning.
TopDock is built for the quick check. A tile per inbox with a quiet badge shows what's new without opening anything. When something matters, one click opens a panel to read and reply, and Esc puts it away. The aim is fewer tabs and fewer interruptions, not another app to live in.
How it's built
TopDock runs on your PC and talks directly to the Gmail API, Microsoft Graph and the X API. There's no TopDock server in between and no TopDock account to create.
- Official sign-ins. You connect each account on Google's, Microsoft's or X's own sign-in page, so TopDock never sees your password.
- Sign-ins stay on your PC. Tokens are kept in Windows Credential Manager, encrypted by Windows.
- Your data stays local. Settings, recent messages, drafts and todos are stored on your PC. Disconnecting an account erases what TopDock kept for it.
- No analytics in the app. We don't know how often you open it or what you read.
The privacy policy lists exactly what is stored where.
What it will never do
- Send, reply or post anything by itself: nothing goes out until you press Send
- Show ads, or sell or share your data
- Ask you to make an account with us
- Change your calendar: the calendar tile only reads it
How it's paid for
TopDock is paid for by the people who use it, not by advertising. After a 7-day free trial (no card needed) it costs €9.99 a month or €79 a year, and one licence covers 3 PCs. The first 100 founding members pay €29, €39 or €49 a year and keep that price for as long as they stay subscribed. Payments go through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. See pricing and the terms.
Where it stands
As of October 2026 TopDock is in early testing on Windows 10 and 11, and the download is coming soon. It works with Gmail, Outlook, X, Google Calendar and Outlook calendars, with a Todos tile and a Tools tile. Reddit support is planned for a later version. There's no Mac, Linux, phone or web version.
